Project: National Fieldays 2017

National Fieldays is the largest agricultural event in the annual calendar and the theme for this year was based around “leading change”. The University of Waikato were collaborating with RoboticsPlus to display their robotics, an Apple Picker and Kiwifruit Harvester, which are designed to streamline work in the horticulture industry. We worked with our clients and developed solutions to showcase the robotics ‘in action’ so as to truly communicate their ability. The main feature was replicating a kiwifruit canopy from which ‘kiwifruit’ were hung to enable the harvester to pick. The stand needed to engaging, communicate a story, be interactive and with careful thought and planning we were able to deliver an award winning stand.
